The Keir Choreographic Award (KCA) is a national biennial award dedicated to the commission, presentation, promotion and dissemination of new Australian choreography. KCA invites a national and internarional jury to commission 8 artists. The Jury awards the KCA $30k cash award to one artist.

AN ARTIST IN YOUR BACKYARD

AN ARTIST IN YOUR BACKYARD is a community access project specifically designed to engage creatively with residents of Carlton Housing Estate. It proposes art as part of every day experience and uses dance as a catalyst for community access and cultural interaction. This year, AAIYB will be led by Dancehouse-supported artists Becky Hilton, James Batchelor and Sarah Aiken.

As a part of Dancehouse's Asia TOPA public program, Body Archives, we open up further dialogue and discourse through two engaging roundtable talks that highlight regional aspects of the traditional through to the contemporary with some very special guests - Eko Supriyanto, Priya Srinivasen, Philipa Rothfield, Tony Yap, Victoria Chiu, Anna Kuroda and How Ngean Lim.
