Three extended solo improvisations from Andrew Morrish, one of Australia's most experienced and cherished performance improvisers. His tragicomic theatrical world is built through movement and text and generously basted with the spirit of direct communication.

The Oh Well project started in Melbourne, July 2015, and will finish with Part 26 at Tanzfabrik, Berlin in February 2018. In between have been further seasons in Melbourne, Adelaide, Ljubljana, Berlin, Bouxwiller, Zagreb, Orbost, Paris, Poznan and now Dancehouse.

Each part is unique, a product of that evening, a search for what is necessary now. Plan to see more than one!

Andrew Morrish (1951) has been involved in improvisation performance since 1981. He began with Al Wunder's Theatre of the Ordinary in Melbourne, then slid into the iconic Trotman and Morrish in 1987. Since 1999 he has focussed on solo performance and dividing his time between performing and teaching in Australia and Europe. He is the oldest recipient of the Australia Council's Dance Fellowship (2016-17) in this century, and quite possible the last century too. See him while you still can.
