DUALITY: A double bill of short contemporary dance works

Book Tickets NOW

Returning to the Fringe after a five-year hiatus, Melenie Crowe, recipient of the 2006 Melbourne Fringe Festival Dance Award, presents two new contemporary dance works at Dancehouse. Showcasing two disparate sides of her repertoire, one displays the inner turmoil and anguish of mental illness, whilst the other is an exploration of movement, shape and form.

Gretchen's Mind

A haunting new contemporary dance work, exploring the private landscape of the mind and the inner turmoil and anguish experienced by an individual suffering from mental illness.

A dark tale of movement told through shape and form, and the exploration of construction (evolution) and deconstruction (devolution) of the body.
