Movement from the Inside Out

"Movement is life. When we move with consciousness and intention to express who we are, and invest ourselves in our movement then we are celebrating life and the life forces that flow through us."

In the Performance Lab, Soto provides a space to explore, improvise, express and create in movement, voice and spoken word. Movement awareness practices will anchor and centre us in our bodies in the present moment. From this embodied state we can begin to shape and change ourselves and our material both as artists and as human beings. We will work solo, in duets and in ensembles to give form to our personal stories and myths. Working together in this way will provide insight and creative resources to take back to our everyday lives. The workshop is open to all levels of experience.
