Madeleine Flynn and Tim Humphrey are audio artists who have worked together since 1993 and live in Melbourne, Australia. Their experimental work is driven by a curiosity and questioning about listening in human culture. They express musical principles through inter-media works that always seek to evolve and engage with new processes and audiences.

Their works have been commissioned and presented nationally and internationally, recognised with the 2014 Green Room Award for Hybrid/Alternative work, APRA-AMC National Award for Excellence in Experimental Music in 2012, and the Melbourne International Arts Festival Award in 2007.

Their work, the megaphone project, an interactive public sound sculpture continues to be presented internationally. Other recent projects include Kekkai in collaboration with Korean theatre company Nottle Theatre and Gauge - a large scale sound of the weather installation which was presented in the UK in 2015.

One of their most recent works, 5 Short Blasts, for electric boats and marine radio, was commissioned by the City of Melbourne and Port of Melbourne.
