Movement Research Forum 4

Movement Research Forums bring together some of Melbourne's leading practitioners working in improvisation, body practice and movement research. Firmly focused on the act of dancing, the idea driving the forums is to create a space for dialogue and exchange; providing a platform to share concrete tools with which to investigate dance and movement processes. The movement research forums will be performed as an ongoing process, inviting interested guests to witness an active (danced) investigation of movement, and become a part of the ongoing dialogues.

Artists involved in the movement research forums are: Olivia Millard, Phoebe Robinson, Carlee Mellow, Emma Strapps, Siobhan Murphy, Michaela Pegum, Peter Fraser and Paul Romano.

The discussions will begin at Dancehouse on Nov 21 & 28 with two closed sessions in which artists can commence the process.
